ABOUT

About West Virginia Fashion:

One crisp fall day in 2000, my ninth grade history teacher--a transplant from the Deep South--declared he loved West Virginia for many reasons.  However, one of the reasons he loved the state so much was the fact "that West Virginia was ten years behind the rest of the nation, "so when the world comes to an end, West Virginia still has ten years!"  When it comes to style and fashion, what my teacher told me so many years is nothing but gospel. I've started this blog to help encourage West Virginia women (and men) to fight the Appalachian stereotype and look their stylish best.  No matter your budget, there's no reason to not present yourself as best you can.  If we all work together, we can make ourselves as beautiful as the West Virginia hills in autumn.

As the sole writer for WVF, I do so because I am passionate about fashion, style, and people looking their best.  I do not work in the fashion industry in any way, that includes everything from designing to folding t-shirts at the Gap.  What I post on this site are my personal views and experiences with no outside influence.

As all reviews are based on my experiences, take care when using products reviewed on this blog.  Your experience with a certain product may be different than mine.  Be aware I base my reviews on many factors.  I am not liable if you have an allergic reaction, you don't like the color of a cosmetic, etc.  If you have questions on ingredients call your physcian.

This site does use affliate links. I use them to help cover the expenses that come from running WVF. However, the ability to use an affliate link does not influence my decision to feature items on this blog. If I love something, I'm going to feature it no matter what.
